Great under appreciated movie.Thanks for shedding some light on it.
Always makes me wonder what kind of movies SK would have gone on to make if Hollywood hadn't continued to throw huge budgets and resources at him.

Great article. Never considered the Jesus angle before. What I like most about the final line is not only the shock and horror Johnny Clay feels at the turn of events, but also how he seems to realize that this was the only possible outcome, and if he had another chance, it would just be the same result, so "What's the difference?"


Your opinion: When Carey calls Edwards that epithet, do you think he's really a racist or just saying it to get rid of him in a hurry? I kinda lean toward the latter.
