There can never be too many Otis Redding fans in the world, regardless of hair color or financial status.


Otis - One of the greatest soul singers of all time. Especially when backed up by Booker T & the MGs. On a side note the bass player is Donald "Duck" Dunn and the guitarist is Steve Cropper; both of whom went on to be in the original SNL band and the Blues Brothers.

There's a Bay Area modern ballet company, Company C, who perform a piece set to Otis Redding songs. It got me interested in dance. They also dance to Tom Waits, but the Redding performance is something very special indeed.
